Critically Endangered Red Wolf Pup Born in New York

A male Red Wolf pup, one of the most critically endangered animals in the world, has been born in South Salem, New York.

The pup arrived onsite on 29 April at the Wolf Conservation Center, an Ecoflix partner.

With so few Red Wolves remaining, every birth is a meaningful step for the recovery of the species.

The Center cares for these wolves as part of wider efforts to safeguard their future and, in time, support healthy populations.

The arrival of a single pup may seem small, but for a species with such a fragile foothold, it represents real and welcome progress.
